Arthur Swallow Fairs Ltd the organisers of the fantastically popular and muched talked about Lincoln Antiques & Home Show held at the Lincolnshire Showground are very excited to announce the launch of the Donington Antiques Market.
Donington Antiques Market will take place at the world-renowned Donington Park. The location of this antique market could not get any better, situated just of the M1 and virtually next door to East Midlands airport will unquestionably make the market hugely popular. The location being so central and so easily accessible will undoubtedly encourage dealers and UK buyers alike. It will also create that perfect buying opportunity for overseas buyers due to the close proximity of the East midlands airport.
The Donington Antique Market is a one day event aimed directly at the trade. The area within Donington Park that is to be used for the event is all hardstanding nicknamed at Donington Park as the Tarmac Lake due to the sheer vastness of the area!
Opening times for Trade & Public Tuesday
- Trade 6:30am - 8:00am £3.00
- Public 8:00 am - 1:00pm £1.50
How the fair will run….
- Strictly no unloading of vehicles or trading until 6:30am when you will hear an air horn
- Buyers are admitted into the trading area at 6:30am
- Vehicle collections can be made after 8:00am
- The fair closes at 1:00pm
- dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Donington Park Moto Service area is a great place to wait for the early arrivals. With facilities from Costa Coffee, M&S, Burger King, WH Smiths, Coffee Nation, The Eat & Drink Co, Travelodge, BP petrol station and free WiFi coverage.
We ask you kindly to please respect the following rules.
- No unloading of vehicles or Trading until 6:30am this is to create a buzz for buyers.
- Please do not use spikes or stakes to secure your stall as the Tarmac area is used for motor racing.
