This week’s Decorative Home & Salvage Show at Ripley Castle is the last event in our Summer of Salvage calendar for 2016.
If the exhibitor line-up - see our exhibitor list below - Instagram posts of wondrous stock winging it's way to Yorkshire and buzzing pre-event press is anything to go by, then this will be a show to remember. We can’t wait.
So, it's time to get your sensible shoes polished, your eagle-eyes sharpened and your bags at the ready and get stuck-in to some serious home shopping. Check-out interior stylist and blogger Jane Day's review of our last Ripley show and see if you can spot the above mirror in its new home.
There's something for every budget at the show and visitors are equally satisfied when thier visit yields a large statement piece to start off a scheme, or they find that 'finishing touch' item which makes a room feel complete. The great thing about buying salvage is the huge scope to stamp your own, personal mark on the things you buy. You won't be short of lovely things to renovate, up-cycle and repurpose at this show. Property renovator and serial DIY'er Sian Astley, of Morgeous, gave an insiders view of the last show on her blog.
Expect to find large, stand-out pieces which are like works of art - exhibitors at this show make a great effort with the stock they bring, often saving their biggest, best and most impressive pieces to showcase over the three days.
Of course we'll be praying for good weather, and keeping all our fingers crossed, so that you can really make the most of the show. Don't forget that there is free parking, on-site catering, and a licenced bar for your convenience. Dogs on leads are welcome.
The show runs from 9th - 11th September, for all show info follow this link.
