Our fourth Decorative Home & Salvage Show of the summer season, which takes place at Loseley Park near Guildford Friday 12th– Sunday 14thJuly, is almost upon us, and excitement is building at ASFairs HQ.
In case you don’t know, this show sits in a run of six events which take place annually around the country - a couple of weekends ago we held our first show at Welland, near Malvern. Despite the almost tropical temperatures, our exhibitors pulled out all the stops to display the most jaw-dropping stock which delighted buyers braving the heat. One happy visitor was Period Living style editor Pippa Blenkinsop from Cheltenham who went away with a few pieces of treasure for her home; ‘Having written about the Decorative Home & Salvage Shows for the magazine, it was lovely to finally visit; It’s a nicely curated show with great quality stock, and the exhibitors are so friendly and helpful, with many of them having a wonderful eye for display. I'm delighted with my vintage deckchair and Lordes Mary statuette to add to my collection along with some old galvanised planters i've already stashed in the car’ said Pippa.
With the Loseley show-build well underway, we’re delighted to be able to share the full exhibitor list with you (scroll to the bottom for list), which is made up of a mix of around 70 excellent exhibitors selling salvage and industrial items, period home fixtures and fittings, decorative and architectural antiques, garden furniture and statuary, restored and up-cycled furniture and beautiful one-off homewares.
If you’re planning on visiting on Saturday 13th and you fancy some interior inspiration or getting hands-on creative in ‘The Workshop’, then book into one of our sessions curated by writer and stylist Alice Roberton which will be running between 12 midday and 3.30pm. Sessions will be held in small groups and should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Each ticket gives you free entry to the event and a glass of complimentary fizz (or soft drink).
